Konfiansa's newly established cooperative will start producing the coffee we will drink this winter in a few months. However, they have never produced good quality coffee, and therefore need better equipment.

CCALMA, the name of the cooperative, is currently looking for three machines to remove the pulp from the coffee bean. These are machines that are absolutely essential for producing good quality coffee.
The machine removes the pulp without requiring a lot of water.
Konfiansa wants to work with farmers who have not previously had the capacity to produce high quality coffee (and thus higher prices). These are often the poorest farmers, and those who need an extra hand the most. The area in Maubisse where the farmers in CCALMA live, on the other hand, is a good starting point for producing good coffee, but better equipment and knowledge are required.
Through the cooperative, farmers will have the opportunity to sell their coffee for a good price, around twice as much as they would otherwise sell it for. In addition, all profits from Konfiansa go back into the local community.
